At Ayana Organics, we aim not only to provide you with beautiful, natural skin care, but also to provide you with alternatives in packaging and accessories that are ecologically and ethically sound, so that whilst you are caring for yourself and your little one, you are also helping to care for the Earth, which of course will be the legacy we leave our children.

Ayana believes in consideration for our Earth and sustainability: We have chosen to use bamboo racks for our gift packs and organic bamboo & cotton baby washers in our baby gift set. Bamboo is a very fast growing plant. It grows without the need for any chemicals and is one of Earth’s most renewable resources. The bamboo fibres in the washers make them soft for delicate skin and they are also naturally anti-bacterial.We have made our candles with 100% soy wax. Soy wax is another renewable resource, which has the benefit of being non-toxic (unlike paraffin wax candles), so no harmful substances are released into the air.

Ayana uses recycled materials: Our handmade gift bags, paper, ribbon and string are all made from recycled waste material such as paper, cotton, water hyacinth and banana fiber.  We have opted to use amber bottles and jars which are recyclable.

Ayana supports fair trade:  The handmade green gift bags that we use are made by several rural communities in Nepal. The bag making work provides the local people (primarily women) with a regular income and therefore the ability to provide housing and education for themselves and their families. The coffee beans used in our products are also fair trade, ensuring that the growers and the workers receive fair pay and working conditions.

Ayana is 100% Vegan Friendly and Cruelty Free: Our entire range is vegan friendly. This means we use no animal parts or substances and no animal by-products, including honey and beeswax. We have included natural loofahs in our gift packs. Loofahs are the perfect vegan friendly exfoliator!  Loofahs are a species of cucumber that grow on trees; once the ends have been cut off, the final dried product is a loofah.
